Customer Lifetime Value

Customer lifetime value (CLV) is a very important metric in determining marketing strategies. Automation does not mean marketing will happen automatically. Here, CLV is a term that, if understood properly, can help in automatically reducing your marketing strain.

As the name implies, CLV is used to determine how a business or industry can earn by identifying the customer pattern and how frequently he buys or takes bulk volumes. Let us understand this by a simple example.

Suppose you have a business where your client is engaged with you for the last 10 years. During this time, the business has on average sold 10 units per year. When you sure shot know the buying frequency, buying volumes, and payment cycles, it will be easy to determine how they will earn us in the future. This is customer lifetime value.

CLV automatically helps in better marketing and sales. This is because CLV helps in the early determination of profits and revenues. This automatic metric can quickly give an insight into the future business. This is because a customer will not buy, even if there is a slight inconvenience. So, the CLV metric helps in the easy estimation of business strategies.

Personal Marketing

Personal marketing is basically an online process. Let us understand this with an example. Suppose you are browsing for some furniture frequently online, and are also buying it. Whenever you open a website, you are many times asked to accept cookies. Cookies mean that the website will know your current location and browsing pattern. When you accept it, and the next time you open that shopping portal, you will be automatically given a popup for buying furniture. This is personal marketing.

The strategy works on who is browsing for what and buying what. The privacy searching of the user is captured by the website and then you will automatically be given suggestions for it, even if you are not looking for it. But, there must be a limit by the websites to maintain the privacy of the user and not share data publically.

Social Media Automation

Social media is always a great way of marketing. This is because it is less expensive or even free many times. You can post product brochures or descriptions on social media groups. People will automatically browse or share it if they like the content. Also, the posts and comments can be automated to give quick responses. Social media automation too takes user history many times and gives suggestions. This will make your task of analyzing your user persona easy and less time-consuming. Also, you can reach out to many people quickly and efficiently.

Conversational Marketing

This is a very interesting way of marketing your business. Many times, suppose you visit a website for browsing or buying something. Suddenly, you will see a chatbot popup. It will prompt you to chat with customer service, as they will ask questions you appropriately. And as you start the conversation with them, the bot will show you links and queries for the product. This will reduce your time in an immense way, as you do not need to search for products manually.

The bots used artificial intelligence techniques, to study your browsing or buying pattern, and guide you accordingly. This will help you to search and answer your own questions quickly and efficiently.
