The generate on-delay timer is called as TON instruction in Siemens Tia Portal. You can use the "Generate on-delay" instruction to delay the setting of the Q output by the programmed time PT. The programmed time PT begins when the instruction starts. When the time PT has elapsed, the output Q has the signal state "1".
